What started in 1981 as a single room of students has become a name families return to, generation after generation.
It began with one belief: that any student can understand mathematics when it's taught with patience and the right intuition. Rajalakshmi Ramesh started Math Success Zone in 1981 with a sole mission to help as many students as possible to learn mathematics and it still remains the same.
Over four decades, thousands of students have passed through these classes on their way to becoming engineers, doctors, researchers and teachers. Today we teach live and online to students around the world, while keeping the same small classes and personal attention the center was built on.
The beginning. Rajalakshmi Ramesh opens Math Success Zone in Palakkad with a small group of students and a single blackboard.
Bigger in the new city. Moves to Kochi after marriage and resumes teaching. Anxious students leave confident, and parents begin sending their younger children too.
A generation taught. Thousands of students move on to top universities and careers, many crediting the foundation they built here and the name is well known in the city.
Going digital. Covid stops in-person classes. Starts online classes reaching students far beyond the original classroom.
A global classroom. In-person classes and live online classes welcome students from across the world: the same teachers, the same care, no borders.
